Each line you type becomes one row — words spread across the full page width
Text input
One sentence per line — each line becomes one row. Words spread evenly across the full page width.
Press Enter twice to insert a section break — adds visual spacing and resets sentence numbering without creating an extra writing line.
Footnotes
Mark a word with a superscript: type word^41. Open Footnotes and define it: 41: explanation. Footnotes appear at the bottom of the page they are referenced on.
Word translations
Open Word translations and enter one translation line per sentence. Each word appears in italic or bold below the corresponding foreign word. Leave a line blank for no translation. Click Clear ✕ to remove all.
Numbering
Enable Number rows. Use Skip first rows to leave an opening dialogue unnumbered — e.g. set to 3 to start numbering from sentence 4. Numbers restart after each section break.
Layout & sizes
Writing space controls every writing line height — including the line under the title. Script line adds a grid practice row above each sentence for non-Latin scripts. Grid lines overlays a 5 mm grid (no "Background graphics" needed).
Layout presets
Save slider/toggle settings by name and reload them any time. Use Export JSON ↓ / Import JSON ↑ to transfer presets between devices.
Printing
Click Print / Save PDF and set Margins → None. The red dashed line in the preview shows page breaks — add or remove lines to adjust.
Each line → one row. Press Enter twice for a blank spacer line. To mark footnotes: type word^41 or multiple: word^41^42
Add as many as you need, one per line: 41: ich freue mich
One line per sentence — words separated by spaces, matching your text above. Blank line = no translation for that row.
